This custom-made, aluminum mounting base is used to provide a "finished" look to your Solar Shower, add stability to the unit while it's in-place, or to accommodate a permanent installation. To use, simply pour cement or sacrete into a sonotube (concrete form) that is larger than the mounting base. Place the Mounting Base into the cement with the 4 studs remaining exposed. Let the cement harden according to manufacturer's instructions, and simply insert the black base plate on your Solar Shower over the threaded studs on the Mounting Base. You'll need a nylon lock washer and nylon nut to secure the shower to the studs. Your Solar Shower can then remain permanently in place if you desire, or can be easily taken down for seasonal storage by removing the nuts and washers.
